would anyone be interested in a game based similar to the world of LXG? though, based on television and film instead of literary works, only (most of the good ones do cross over and such) -- it would be something like a pan-fandom game... but not.. really.

i would either like to A) do a classic lxg-esque game (a team of maybe six, a head of the team who isn't involved, and maybe some villains)

or B), some kind of training facility, taking these extraordinary characters from tv & film? maybe with older tv/movie influences as the "instructors", with newer tv/film characters being trained. no idea who the older ones would be, maybe Samantha Stephens from Bewitched? ... if you have some ideas, circa 1900s-late 1960s, let me know. :)

THOUGHTS though!?

I like option B myself, I think that could be a lot of fun! As for suggestions for instructors ... the agents from Get Smart? The Adams family originally aired as a TV show in the 60's, as did Scooby Doo (well it started in 69. There's also Johnny Quest!

Me too! :) I love all of those! I hadn't thought of them, haha. Someone suggested it should just be literary works; what do you think? My feeling is many great literary characters were portrayed in either film/tv, whereas the vice versa isn't necessarily true...

Well if you do literary you might get characters that a lot of people wouldn’t normally play (like perhaps Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz! ) But the idea of Samantha from Bewitched? I love that idea. Mind you, I just think that the whole League concept would make for a neat RP, so I myself would be open to just literary characters, or to TV/movie characters.

(I do think you make a good point about a lot of literature making the jump to TV/films though).

Yeah, I'm torn! But, I hope I can find a co-mod, and then maybe we can work something out, (a give and take, hopefully) so if you're free... ;D

However, I do hope to see you join if/when the game takes off. :)
