Related to fandoms because of the intensity I am looking for... What I want is hard to just write down so I tried to really explain everything as much as is possible so there would be little if any misunderstandings, hopefully I did it with success! If after reading this you are confused about something, we can clear it up without issue, just let me know~
Firstly, I am looking for someone to establish a long term, very collaborative (essentially celeb-based) slash storyline with, one that will likely take a little time to work out completely. Someone dedicated to writing and coming up with solid ideas together, who isn't afraid to use their imagination in their writing and ideas without being afraid to ask questions and make suggestions. I'm very open with ideas and working things out, but there are some specific structures I want to use. What I want to write is something that takes effort, that's well written/detailed and well thought out - always exciting for both of us.
I'm interested in basing a storyline in another era, varying anywhere from the 1950's to 1980's but where/when exactly depends on a lot of things. There is no need for whoever you want to play to have been in their prime in ANY of those decades to put them there, so don't think that ;)
Playing unconventional people and using Alternate Universe as the extraordinary tool it can be and to its maximum benefits. Making the rules ourselves while maintaining and incorporating whatever happened in the character's separate lives into the AU. We'd be able to alter absolutely anything (age, appearance if necessary, changing the times things actually occurred, etc)... whatever we mutually decide. EVERYTHING, though, is subject to the AU factor. When I say that, I mean anything can be altered and arranged to make things the way we want them, with good mutual brainstorming and creativity. ANYTHING. Think of it as getting to write someone you are passionate about and you've wished you could play, but never had the chance for timeline reasons, no opportunities to try it, etc.
I won't be too picky about who you want to play, since the pairing would have to be ultimately agreed upon 100%. Whoever you choose as even a potential to play, I only ask that whoever you pick, that you be very familiar with them. In the know of what they'd been doing during their careers, the work that they produced and their personal lives. Whoever it may be make it someone who you'd basically be able to write a timeline about if you wanted to... catch my rambling drift here (ha, ha)? Someone you are truly PASSIONATE about, no barriers! Even if we aren't familiar with the lives etc of who each other has in mind, if the interest is there and chance for a great storyline exists, we'd be able to learn and teach each other without problems.
All the in betweens can be smoothed out as the basics are figured out, mutually. I'm hoping to find someone to have a productive and very creative storyline with as well as building that special natural chemistry as a lasting writing partner. With me, I'm always willing to go above and beyond all set standards of writing and the sky is literally the limit.
Finally, here are the people I would be interested in playing plus (next part seems hard to explain-) the ONLY years/*eras including the works they did during those times* of their real lives I'd base them between. Everything is always subject to the golden AU factor, though. Yes, in order of personal preference:
Leonard Nimoy (1967 - 1970) - as a side note and apart from everything I said in this entry, I'd also LOVE the chance to write Leonard against William Shatner during the 60's. In the sense of a dangerously undeniable love affair that develops due to the very deep/conflicting nature of their work together on Star Trek. The relationship they brought to life between Mr. Spock and Kirk was a very special one - if you understand what K/S really means, I shouldn't need to explain it. The things that happened in their personal lives during that time would be the another crucial aspect. Bob Dylan (1963 - 1976) Glenn Danzig (1977 - 1988) Matt Skiba (circa 1998 - 2006) Elvis Presley (1956 - 1961)
Honourable mentions that I'd like to play in some kind of AU way, but that wouldn't be as fulfilling or challenging as the others:
Hugh Grant (1987) Freddie Mercury (1975 - around 1983) - playing him would unquestionably result in a basis of a very dramatic up and down relationship between the characters. One that would be impossible yet existing for years; with at times long separations between the two. Playing him wouldn't fulfill the chance to be as creative as I would like to be right now, because I don't see any other way to play him, yet would like to someday! Daniel Day-Lewis (circa 2002)
