Hi there. So Our Burrow is a social trio-era group psl of sorts that takes place in 2005. It's centered around the Weasley family and their connections (friends, lovers, other) and is inspired by antics found in soap operas and sitcoms. We have a pretty casual environment, with an open-world (please bring all of your ideas and help make this playground your world too!), and we have a fixed character list that's almost filled, minus these couple of characters we'd love to see in play.
Bill Weasley: Current husband of Fleur Delacour. Father of Victorie. It seems that love may be waning between himself and Fleur. Recently started attending a support group for werewolf attack survivors where he connected with Lavender Brown. Will the younger lady be able to seduce him into a new love affair, or is this temptation just what he needs to spark a fresh connection with his wife? (Connections already in play: Lavender Brown, Fleur D-W, Meaghan McCormack, Kirley Duke, George, Ron and Ginny...)
Rolf Scamander: Having met Bill some years back on an expedition in Egypt, the pair formed an unlikely friendship. When his mind is not on his work, he can often be described as licentious or lecherous, and his dirty frat-boy-esque mind does nothing to help steer his friend toward a more "moral" path. For his part, Bill just tries to keep this particular friend away from his young sister and her own companions. (Active Connections: Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, Michael Corner...)
Charlie Weasley: He's become the Bear Grylls of the Wizarding World. Has only had two loves in his life: dragons, and Oliver Wood. The latter he lost to an accident years back that left them both bitter, and the former he’s losing to an absurd contract with WICON as he completes his "Roughing It” series. Will he say fuck it- and pursue those dearest to his heart, or will he find a way to cope and adjust with this new life that’s been made for him? (Active Connections: Oliver Wood, Kirley Duke, Alicia Spinnet, Pansy Parkinson, George, Ron, Ginny...)
Percy Weasley: An ambitious workaholic who just started a new position: Communications Director & Senior Council to the Minister. He's got an Auror assigned to watch over him because of the security involved with his new job, a perky new assistant, and a a perpetually lazy rival that he just can't stand. Will he ever develop people skills? (Active Connections: Audrey Spinnet (auror), Bryce Dunstan (rival), Sally-Ann Perks, George, Ron, Ginny...)
Leanne Pucey: She's got gumption. She's got spunk. She sometimes acts like she just stepped out of a 50s movie. Her new boss doesn't seem to like her very much, but she's determined to prove herself his indispensable Girl Friday. She's also nurturing a crush from her days at Hogwarts that's doomed to end in tears. But she doesn't have time for that right now anyway. Leanne Pucey's got shit to do. (Active Connections: Katie Bell, Kenneth Towler, George Weasley...)
Zacharias Smith: He runs a bar in the new Aeri Alley. Ron surprised him by working for free to help him get the place up and running, although he didn't stick around after the place opened. Still, Zacharias takes owing someone a favor just as seriously as the grudges he holds. (Active Connections: Ron Weasley, Hannah Abbott, Alicia Spinnet, George Weasley...)
Roger Davies: A Quidditch player who will never grow up. He plays as hard as he works, leaving people to wonder how he ever got sorted in Ravenclaw. He adopted Viktor Krum as his new best mate. And having finally "gotten" Fleur, who he wanted since the Yule Ball, he couldn't believe his luck. However, she hasn't been quite as friendly since their one night together, and Roger is starting to wonder if her beauty and fun is worth the trouble that her marriage brings him. After all, there are a lot of fish in the sea, even if their scales aren't quite as shiny as hers. (Active Connections: Viktor Krum, Katie Bell, Fleur Delacour, Hannah Abbott...)
These are the roles that are open at the moment, but there are plans to add more connections once we have all the Weasleys in play. So please, check us out. It won't hurt anything, after all. All of the concept information above is completely open to interpretation, being changed or discarded to suit your needs. If you see a name you like but want to interpret it a different way, lets talk about it. As long as we can ensure that the character still has connections to the Weasleys we're sure we can work something out!
