I'm catching up with Sherlock, but if someone's alright with my rudimentary understanding of canon yet good grasp of his character, I would love to see him with someone from the show. A situation of our choice, I'd rather not play him exactly along canon lines unless someone has a really fantastic idea to keep the line from being a rehash of the show. That said, I'm open to hearing any ideas and then deciding if we want to go ahead with them. Also open to less-seen pairings, Mycroft included. Would be open to het on this, but I'd prefer more of an Irene than a Molly in that case.

Total AU could be fun too. I would love to write a 'fallen-off-the-wagon' Sherlock. I will likely love you forever if you're interested in that.

Dark lines are my forte, I can go as dark as we can manage. My lines are usually not less than NC-17 rated and I do like it that way. I'm also very flexible in terms of reply time, brainstorming, stuff like that. AIM or threading, though threading will work out better every time.

That would be absolutely amazing. A Lestrade would be very welcome!

There are definitely benefits to both. If we go with pre-canon, we can sort of deal with how the nature of their relationship arrived at what it is now, but AU does offer the interesting 'what-if' factor and the very real possibility of a drug addict returning to old habits. I think I'm leaning towards AU, but I'm open if you feel strongly!

Would you like a custom? I could set one up in a little bit or I can respond to one in a few minutes (have to actually share the computer, unacceptable) if you'd like to talk some plot.

Quite alright! A custom for when you wake.

Oh wow, this sounds wonderful to me. Dark and AU are indeed what I'm looking for and so, plotting seems to be the only thing left to do, too many lines or none. RP, it's terrible and wonderful like that, right?

I am really pleased with that idea, it's been a concept I've entertained, the whole idea that John was a pawn for Moriarty at some point and Sherlock's whole livelihood (well… most of it, who does Sherlock actually fully reveal himself to?), is compromised. It would be one of the deepest betrayals possible. If John died and that was part of a twist, part of a move against Holmes that Moriarty reserves, maybe that would be wonderful as well. It would be the one idea Sherlock probably entertained but never gave any credence to at all. I could see him seeking revenge, without that knowledge. Maybe not even obviously to himself at first, but I could see him losing his grip on his own version of discipline.

I'd be very interested to play against John or Moriarty. Sebastian is very tempting as well, but I admit that I know less about him. This doesn't deter me, though. So… shall we set up a plotting post?
