"Delightful to see you again as well, Inuzuka-san," Haruichi replied sharply, sparing no soft words for either of them - even if he'd spent the better part of the last fortnight wondering if they'd survive, or more to the point, be glad that they had. The very newly qualified doctor (there was a badge clipped to his labcoat which had never been there before) lifted one hand from a deep white pocket and beckoned them both forwards as he turned and strode more fully into the room.

He didn't give any outward sign that he remembered so clearly the panic he'd caused them, or that his nightmares had superimposed their hurts onto his beloved, but there was evidence of those stresses in the shadows that had formed under his eyes as of late.

Eyes which had been cautiously, meticulously and repeatedly checking this room from corner to corner for the last twenty minutes to be sure that every seal was correctly placed for what he was about to attempt. Cutting chakra paths was easy if you were a Hyuuga; you learned how to do it as a child with the jyuuken, but reconnecting them was the preserve of a very skilled few - most of whom were also very dead.

Haruichi pushed that thought away, and regarded Tsume and Kuromaru with a healthy amount of caution. He had no idea what they thought of him after the severing, and he would have rather not been forced to find out. Unfortunately a medic - a doctor - had to see the patients in his care, especially if he was entirely responsible for repairing damage done by his own treatments.

"I'm sure you can guess why we're here. Can I put some faith in the idea that you won't start in on a screaming fit or believe I'm trying to kill you this time?"

Around them, the white walls hummed with energy held in silent stasis - and Haruichi was quite aware that this time Hatake Kakashi wasn't around to pin down either her, or a fully-fanged Kuromaru so that he could do what had to be done. Or so that they wouldn't go for his throat. A part of him was still concerned that they'd never trust him to do this, or anything for them, after the last time... and it was a concern that grew louder now.
