So in the world's most fucking hilarious turn of events, guess who is captaining Grade 4 PTA at the elementary school this year? I'm unconvinced they didn't confuse me with Alison and then just keep on with the ruse to save face, and I'm also too stubborn to correct them.

We've got pretty awesome teachers this year though, seems like. Should be easy if they're as on the ball as they seem to be.

Ha, you don't have to qualify. I know my daughter's the shit. But thank you, I try. You're pretty great too, from what I've seen. Kira's excited for music class.

Oh, good! I used to teach high school — I mean, I was a show choir director — and then Kurt and I started a company that traveled around to elementary schools to encourage kids to get excited about the arts, so you have no idea how glad I am to hear that.

For sure. I never was into it when I was in school (which may've also been because I was rarely actually in school), but it's something Alison loves and Kira's shown interest in it too.

It's so weird, you and your sisters are all so different.

Isn't it ridiculous?

You definitely weren't raised together.

Even if the personalities didn't give it away, the accents would've. We were all adopted.

And they didn't keep you together? That's awful.

Just guessing on accents, but that'd make Felix the brother you grew up with, right?

It's a long story, but yeah. We didn't know about each other until fairly recently, all things considered.

Right. We were both in the system together and grew up together.

That's crazy! And you're triplets? I can't believe they split you up, but I guess when people are looking to adopt they're not looking for three all at once, maybe.

Kurt was really close with his stepbrother, we all kind of forgot that they weren't really brothers.

Actually, not just triplets. I say this just in case Cosima shows up too. It could've been because of how many of us there were. I mean, it wasn't, but it could've been You can imagine how it gets when there are multiples.

Right, it's exactly that. Fe and I have a weird relationship that can only come from being that close.

Holy shit.

Kurt's brother passed away when we were in college, before we got married. It I know before I met Kurt, and before Finn's mom and Kurt's dad got married, Finn was a real jerk to him for being gay and weird — and then he got over himself and would have done anything for him.

That's accurate.

Oh shit, that's terrible, all of it. I'm glad they worked through all of that, but still. I hate that he lost someone close to him.

So there are four of you? And you all found each other??

It was hard on everyone. We had a really tight group of friends in high school, I'm still close with most of them (so close that one donated her egg and one was surrogate for Dorothy, so yeah, close). There's a plaque with his picture on it hanging in the auditorium at McKinley, and my best friend Sam leads the McKinley High New Directions and I don't think a year goes by when he doesn't explain to them who Finn Hudson was.

We did, yeah. It's been a wild ride.

That is close. It's awesome that you all found ways to stay connected, too, and that you kept his memory alive. I bet that means a lot to his mom.

That is so crazy. And amazing. Cramazing, you might say. And Felix is dating REMUS FREAKING LUPIN how is this real life

Carole's the best. Kurt's mom died when he was eight, and Carole lost her first husband and then Finn, so like. Carole and Kurt are so close these days, and of course Kurt's dad is just the greatest. [...] And now I'm homesick.

That is not something I'd have ever said, but I like it.

What about your family?

Actually, wait, that may not help with the homesick. We can change the subject!

No, no, it's fine! My brother Cooper's an actor in LA, we don't see each other much because he's usually busy. I think he's dating some girl now. He definitely thinks I shot my career in the foot by being on the East Coast and then becoming a teacher. My dad and I aren't close, he's [...] not happy with my life choices, either. My mom and I are on good terms, and my parents got a vacation home out on the Cape so they can visit. My dad doesn't come up much, he's busy with work, but I see my mom every few months.

My dad's been trying to butch me up since I was born, which is stupid because I love sports and beer, I just also love guys, so oops, my bad.
