Who: Dympna and Innocencio When: January 11th, early morning. Where: Outside the COR building What: A wild nymph appears! Status: In progress.
Dympna was dizzy.
The blonde nymph arrived in Tierye early in the morning. But it did not matter. She was so tired.
There were precisely four different types of tranquilizers in her system, fighting their way in her delicate faerie body to numb her nerves. And they were working. Dympna felt numb about almost everything.
She had somehow managed to feel enough, or to at least remember enough of a feeling of preservation, to escape the human asylum. Glamouring her way to a train station, she arrived at the ferry station in England and took the ferry across to Ireland. Her blonde hair was disheveled and her eyes were red and droopy. She ripped the name-tag and identification number patch off of her orange jumpsuit. Dympna had learned enough about the asylum to tell that those were important. Humans used those numbers to track her and remember her. She did not want to be found again, or to be remembered by any humans.
It was difficult enough for her to stay awake during her travels and to realize where she was stopping. Dympna had one final train ride to Tierye. Many times during the trip, she fell asleep for small smells, sitting up. Her short naps were plagued with frightening nightmares and hallucinations. At the very least, they woke her up so she did not miss her stop.
Arriving in Tierye, Dympna did not entirely know where she was going. She had no plan. She simply knew she had to find other faeries. She had no where else to turn.
Dympna walked and walked until her surroundings started to look familiar, but they didn't. Not much, anyway. Then her vision became blurrier and dizzier. In her fuzzy view, she thought she saw a familiar-looking mound. And some buildings. She kept walking.
Finally, her body could not take it anymore and she stopped on the porch of a building. It was the COR building - somewhere she had never before visited. But it had a lovely stoop, perfect for resting on. Just a small, quick nap...
