Dympna couldn't have collapsed on the porch any more haphazardly. The stairs of the porch did not exactly provide a comfortable resting surface. But there she was, a tangled mess of skinny limbs, and blonde hair, all curled up in a baggy orange jump suit.
She was dreaming of something. It wasn't a nightmare, not yet. Dympna was in a familiar grassy, flowery field of the Summer Court. She was chasing giant, marshmellowy bunny rabbits. The bunny rabbits bounced very slowly. They had joints in their mouths. Calm. Tranquil. The bunnies reminded her of her old human friends.
In the waking world, Dympna only responded to Innocencio's queries with a mumble. She stirred just slightly. "Mffph."
