WHO: Uaine & Halis
WHAT: A dance in the ballroom.
WHEN: After their conversation via wisp, before her meeting with Devan
WHERE: The Ballroom
WARNINGS: Dancing!
A dance. It was unexpected, her new friendship with Halis, but not unwelcome. She appreciated the fact that he didn't put on airs and never had. Though he seemed to dislike the Seelie as a whole, he did not seem to dislike individual fae. She could see why he thought some of her court to be flighty and somewhat silly. The pursuit of flesh was ever something that her court excelled at. They loved the unions of bodies as much as Uaine did, but she sought inspiration more often than sex. She was certain, after their conversation, that he did not mean her ill or to trick her. A tiny part of her worried that this might be an elaborate plot to harm her, but the quiet little paranoia was silenced by the larger part of her that held out hope and had faith in others. A dance in the ballroom sounded lovely, a wonderful way to spend a part of the afternoon, and with the intent of simply enjoying oneself. Nothing plotted, nothing planned. Just simply being. As soon as she found him in the ballroom, her hand was clasped in his and she laughed softly. "Come, dance, please..." Though he seemed a bit awkward, with a bit of encouragement she had him on the dance floor, her hand on his shoulder and one clasped in his as she smiled. "Do you like to dance often?" |
