She was losing a lot of blood, fast. One couldn't tell if it was the blood lost or the fact she was in shock, but she had already became very pale. Never before had she been attacked like that. Never. Everything was a bit of a blur honestly, she didn't fight with Brody when he began to tie his shirt around her arm to stop the bleeding. When he addressed her, telling her to stay with him, she attempted to fight through the shock, her blue eyes moving from where they were fixated on the ground to look at him, she managed a weak nod and felt herself being picked up.
She laid motionless against his chest as he carried her, the shock she was in was a pretty severe one. She didn't know how much longer she could hold on, everything began dimming around her as she fought to stay awake. But finally, the feeling won. Her body desperately needed to reset, it was overwhelming her with everything and her eyes just rolled to the back of her head as she laid, limp against him.
She wasn't aware of him stopping the car or one of the guys getting out to help put her in the backseat and to make sure Brody got in. There were no cars in the road, so the guy pretty much sped all the way to the hospital.
While Brody was getting her out of the car, one of the guys ran into the hospital, announcing they had an emergency and needed help so Brody was greeted by a physician and some nurses who ran out with a stretch so he could lay her on it.
They began asking him questions, seeing what he could answer. How long she had been left unconscious, did he know what attacked her. The doctor broke apart some smelling salts and placed them under Madison's nose and slowly, her head began to shift back and forth as she muttered beneath her breath to let go of her, but then panic struck in, especially when she opened her eyes and seen faces that weren't Brody's. She flipped her shit, pushing them away, fighting as if her life depended on it as she cried out for Brody.
She seen him over at the side though and started to calm down. She reached for him but not before she was stabbed in the butt with a needle and medicine was injected inside of her and her arm that was reached out? Fell limp, her eyes rolling back into her head once more and her head hit the pillow.
Slowly, Madison began coming to. Her head lulled from one side to the other. At the moment she felt content, her body definitely had enough time to reset. She opened her eyes slowly and seen she was laying in bed, her arm bandaged. The bite was so bad that it was going to require a skin graph surgery. But right now, it was sewn up the best they could. But luckily, they had her up on enough medicine that there wasn't any pain.
She seen Brody sitting in the chair. "Hey." She said softly, pushing herself up to a sitting position. "Woah..." She said, her hand coming to her head. She was still loopy. But more and more started coming to her. She knew she wasn't in any danger now, now she was thinking rationally. She could tell she was in the hospital. She had Brody at her side. She was safe.
"Are you okay?" She asked with concern. "I tried yelling at you to run, that... that thing was a creature. I didn't want you to get hurt."
