Linda’s 20th Annual Winter Solstice Party
For the past 20 years Linda Fields has hosted a Solstice Party to celebrate the winter holidays. Though only Witches are formally invited each year, Linda would have mentioned it to many friends and neighbors and encouraged them to pop by.
The party is held on the first floor and outside. Despite lowering temperatures because of Samantha Cross’ insistence that this month be filled with snow, it is toasty in the screened veranda and outside. As Linda is quite proud of the fact that she is a Witch - everyone will understand that this is a effect of a potion that has been sprayed throughout the area. There’s a clear perimeter of where there is no snow, anyone who walks outside of that perimeter will be subject to the cold once again.
VOLUNTEER ONE, who did their research before arriving, brings pinecones they collected from around town. As tradition indicates, they are placed in the living room where most socializing happens on a day-to-day basis.
In the living room there are many materials to create your own wreath to take home. STEVE DIRKS (NPC WITCH; Dr. Dirks is known among the Witches to always make the best one.) VOLUNTEER TWO tries their best to take his advice about how to construct that base of their wreath. But they still end up taking home a wreath that is more of an oval than a perfect circle that’s meant to symbolize the wheel of the year.
JAKE RIVERA and ADAM KEENER are caught underneath the mistletoe and share a kiss.
A party crasher, VOLUNTEER FIVE, doesn’t know what they’ve walked into but they’re always game for a big ass bonfire. So they pick up a stick and throw a marshmallow on it. While they’re roasting it they ask VOLUNTEER SIX what this shindig is.
