I understand. Just because you know the pain will pass doesn't keep it from hurting now. And I know how it feels to take on things someone you love has done.

He was. Well--mostly. It's complicated. I keep telling myself it's better that I was left here than the other way around but...as you said, I know I'll get through it, but for now it's difficult.
