Selina didn't care about what Bruce was doing. That's what she told herself at least as she found fresh clothes in the baggage car. They weren't perfect, but she could play tourist well and lift some money for new clothes. Her burglary outfit was hidden beneath her bed - the best she could do on such short notice. She would just have to remember to get some kind of security box to make sure that her things were secure. First though, she needed money. The train was easy enough to get off of and she found her way to the city center with similar ease. It was amazing to see how tightly packed everyone was, moving swiftly up and down the sidewalks all while bumping into each other the entire way. With so much jostling happening, pickpocketing had to be easy. She couldn't resist.
She slipped into the crowd and made sure to bump into people more than usual, as a tourist would, stopping to try and ask for directions in loud, obnoxious English as opposed to what little Chinese she spoke. Watches slipped from wrists to her pocket with relative ease, born from the confidence she had as a pickpocket for the majority of her life. Wallets came next, and the cash and credit cards were much more valuable. She stopped once she got to a decent amount of money and slipped into a high end store, charging a new dress, shoes, pants, blouses, and a very nice pair of sunglasses to a man who'd been in a rush to get to a business meeting. His card read CEO and she did so love billionaires. Of course, that made her frown, thinking of Bruce Wayne and whether or not he'd found his way to Gotham. "His funeral," she muttered under her breath, slipping back out into the street towards food. She was hungry.
