This train was making Emma feel like she was caged up and she had figured that maybe she would adjust, but she really wasn’t. Back in Storybrooke it had been the longest she had ever stayed in one place. Then again she could go outside anytime she wanted instead she was stuck on a train without the ability to get off until a stop. At least she had people here she knew that she cared about or she would have been off to crazy land. Plus she kept her mind focused on other things as a way not to think about being trapped like an animal. She thought about going to see the huntsman again, but she was hoping he got the baby to sleep and was sleeping himself. Emma could tell he needed the sleep that if he still wasn’t sleeping later she would offer to watch the baby for him so he could sleep. Her mind also drifted to other things like how Emma knew Regina was planning something but that wasn’t a big shock to her. Emma also knew the woman would get some person to be her little lackey. Sidney wasn’t here and Regina couldn’t do anything on her own so she had to have someone, but Emma wasn’t quite sure who that lackey was yet. Emma had a small idea considering Regina would want someone who disliked the ones she wanted gone and the first person that came to mind was that Claudia chick. Then again Emma could be wrong about that, which was why she was keeping her eyes and ears open for anything that could give her a heads up. Now that Emma knew why Regina hated Snow so much it just made Emma think of Regina as a sad individual. All she wanted to do to was hurt people more than anything and it was over something like that. Yes, it was bad, but Snow had been a child. Part of Emma felt like she should get some people on her side for when Regina decided to act or do something stupid. Then again Emma wasn’t like Regina who needed help since Emma could do this herself and if she needed help she was sure she could call on a few people. Even if Prince Charming didn’t believe her on how Regina was going to strike, she knew it would happen and that was why she wasn’t letting her guard down. Along with it being a habit to always be on the guard even before she found herself in Storybrooke. She had stopped in the kitchen to grab herself a water bottle and a bagel before going into the dining car. Her game plan this morning was to have something to eat before checking to see if the train had the Ghostbusters movie. Then maybe check up on Henry to see how her son was doing. It was weird how much she enjoyed knowing that her son wanted her in his life and to stay with him even after she gave him up for adoption. For now though she was sitting so no one could sneak up on her as she ripped a piece of her bagel off to stick in her mouth, chewing on the piece as her thoughts shifted to another thing that had been on her mind since Ella and Thomas showed up and that was Storybrooke. How did she break the curse? Henry said she was the savior, but she couldn’t figure out how she could have broken the curse. With the curse broken, did everyone return home? Would Emma and Henry stay back while everyone else returned to their world? She was also wondering if she could change whatever she was doing back in Storybrooke to save Henry like Mr. Gold had told her could work. What if Emma left the hospital without Henry? Could she change that? So many questions with no answers caused her to feel helpless. Instead of focusing more on her thoughts, she took ripped another piece of her bagel off, popping the ripped part into her mouth as she glanced around to see who was around that maybe she could socialize herself with as a way to avoid her thoughts. |
