Emma Swan ([info]swanemma) wrote in [info]expresslogs,
Emma made a face because she felt a little bad about admitting that she thought he was losing his mind, but he was right. “Just a tiny bit. I couldn’t understand how you couldn’t have a heart or how a person could take it without you being dead. I figured you just weren’t feeling well or something and that was why you died that night,” she said the last bit softly. It had to be weird for him to hear about his death, but she really had no idea how else to say it.

A small smile slipped over her lips when his hand covered hers, enjoying this nice moment because deep down she had a feeling it wouldn’t end up lasting. How could they be happy when Regina was on board somewhere? Emma was learning that bitch wasn’t one that would back down and she really hated people happy causing her to wonder how she would ruin this. “Least I can do,” because she knew she couldn’t stand to lose him again though she didn’t need to voice all that aloud. “You should know a bunch of people cared about you in town and I was one of them,” she figured people did care about him even if no one really knew who they were. “Yeah, I figured as much, but I really don’t need you looking out for me,” she said before wanting to kick herself. Why was it so hard to let someone care for her without having to turn them down? For most, easy as pie but she had a hard time with allowing someone to watch out for her
