"It's amazing how well they take care of us here, but the train can't be bothered to stay stocked with food." There was a touch of annoyance in her tone at that because food was sort of important when it came to their survival and it wasn't like the train took them to adequate places for food supply runs. The mechanics of it just didn't make sense to her, though it didn't stop her from enjoying the amenities of the hotel while they had it. She wondered if they could bring food, sheets, and the like back onto the train. It certainly wouldn't hurt to try.
"You might surprise yourself, Logan." Rogue offered him a warm smile but she didn't press any further than that. "At the very least, I'll learn how to hold on." Gentle teasing was new for her but she thought she was doing a pretty good job of it.
"Whatever it is, I'm glad for it. It'd be kind of mean to put us in such a lovely place and then ruin it." It was nice to see him smile and know that she'd said something to cause it. "I saved some credits just in case." Not that she had much she needed to spend her credits on.
She held onto the sketchbook carefully, trying not to bounce her legs. Instead, she kept rocking slowly, at least until Logan offered for them to find a room together. Split beds meant there wasn't any pressure for anything which was just fine with her because she wasn't ready for that any time soon. Even if that painter's glove stuff worked, that was still a big step and one she'd never taken before. Not to mention, well, Logan said he needed time. She didn't think he was all for 'them' just yet. If they were sharing a room though, it meant she wouldn't have to worry about either one of them getting a roommate. She'd be safer that way and she figured he'd still sleep in the touring car like usual. "That'd be real nice, Logan. Thanks."
