Rogue actually really enjoyed the resort. The shops were fun too and she stocked up on some art supplies. Even Logan had thought to buy some for her and that made her smile. The necklace he'd gotten her was even more beautiful and she wore it nearly every day. She had her new boots on, new jeans, and a nice shirt along with elbow-length gloves and after a nice long soak in the tub, Rogue actually felt like a normal human being enjoying a nice vacation. She'd spent most of her time meditating, working with Beth to clear her mind and find it in herself to focus on her powers. It was hard and frustrating as all hell, but Beth was a good sport and she'd managed to shake the pink-haired girl's hand for a brief moment before her powers kicked in and forced Beth to negate it real fast.
It was an experience, that was certain. She was hopeful it would get better soon but she wasn't fool enough to try and push herself to hard too fast. Risking anyone's safety wasn't something she wanted to do. Drawing helped focus her though and she was grateful for the colored pencils. Instead of just drawing the view from her balcony, Rogue decided to make her way up one of the paths leading away from the resort, sketchbook in hand. It was a lazy sort of walk and she stopped to explore the flowers that grew along the path or to watch the birds as they flew across the sky. It was unbelievably peaceful out here and it was certainly a good place to relax and draw the sunset again.
In all honesty, Rogue expected the cabins to be empty. The smell of smoke piqued her curiosity and sure enough, she caught sight of Logan rocking on a chair in front of a cabin just a little further down the path. She smiled and walked towards him, giving him a little wave as she stopped in front of his porch. "Hey," she greeted with a smile. "How's your day been?"
