Hermione was hesitant to lower her wand light at all, but did so so that she could get a better look at the person in front of her. She slid down from the bench she'd been sitting atop, and took a few, cautious steps towards him, as he moved too. His face was something curious. She was sure that if she focused on it enough, she could see parts of both Harry and Ginny in him. Not a lot, but enough to suggest he could be a relation. Her eyes narrowed as he touched her, and she would've slapped his hand away using her wand if she wasn't holding it so rigidly, and her other hand playing nervously at the bottom of her jacket. "I don't think I'd appreciate being called adorable at any time. Look, we don't have that much time...He's got better at finding out where we are, whether he has more Death Eaters tracking us I don't kn--" She paused, before pointing her wand at his left forearm. "Show me." She said, not answering his qestion about the Veritaserum. His suggestion that they not use it only made her more suspicious.
When his arm was exposed, and she saw there was no Death Eater mark on him, she took several steps back, and pulled a mug out of her pocket. She poured a little of the serum into it, before screwing the top back on, and walking back over to Albus, holding the mug out in front of his face. "Do you really think I'll trust you just because you say you should be trusted? You're a total stranger, I've already taken a risk bringing you here, all on the understanding that you'll take the serum and answer questions for me. Otherwise I'll tie you to a tree until someone - Muggle, wizard, I don't care who - comes and gets you down." She shoved Albus' hand into the handle of the mug, and curled his fingers around it. "Drink it." She tried glaring at him, but her eyes softened at the idea again that this could be someone in her future. When she spoke again, there was a slight affectionate shake in it. "Don't make me force you."
