Hi all,
Just a quick note to apologise for being so out of it over the past month or so. Long story short, things have been pretty shitty IRL, which has left me with very little time/energy for anything nice. Even wine. And drinking wine whilst responding to tags is one of my favourite pastimes. I'm hoping I'm through the worst of it now, so yeah. Let's see.
I *think* I've caught up. If there's anything I've missed, please point me to it.

Hi all!
FYI -- so when Fay had the sword in the battle a few days ago, Wilhuff hit him with lightning.
So... It turns out that there are some very interesting side effects to being hit by lightning.
Give that a read because it's interesting, if you want, but here's the rundown of what it means for Fabian:
- It knocked him unconscious on site and blew his shoes right off (his feet were burned too)
- He got the cool tree branch shaped scar all up his right arm (because he was brandishing the sword and the electricity entered through his hand)
- His brain was a bit affected with a little bit of memory loss (not TOTAL LOSS, but foggy, distant details) that will be relevant to:
-- Emmeline (Fay will lose a little bit of the trauma over seeing the state Em was in when she came back, the whole week of looking for her, and some of his guilt around her getting taken in the first place)
-- Anton (Fay will forget some of the details of the benefit night, including noticing Anton leave before the DE attack, but he will remember the more recent stuff from when he was over after Em was back and Anton fed him and they talked, so suspicions not TOTALLY gone, but less)
- He will also have a bit of personality change in that he'll be a little less confrontational maybe, a little more YOLO (which he was already pretty YOLO, so... watch out world, lol)
- A New Skill! Sometimes lightning strikes give people nifty new talents, so a little better at wandless/wordless magic now. This is def NOT Dumbledore level skill boost, and does not make fay a Special Snowflake Badass. Just a minor level up. He will still use his wand for most things, just more instinctive stuff (combat and shield spells, for example) will come easier without a wand.
So the changes will be subtle-ish, maybe at first chalked up to him being a little addled by the lightning and expecting it to go away. Just FYI for those who are close enough to Fay to notice these sorts of changes!

YOOOO. Tabby here, bringing in a werewolf because obviously the pack needs another member with strong opinions to add to the fun.
Mo is loyal AF to Fenrir, like rabidly so. She's also got a set of two year old twin pups that are his, so most of her energy is spent corralling them. She will RIP YOUR THROAT OUT if you are human and look sideways at her pups. Fair warning. So she will, sadly, probably not have any plotlines with any non-wolf characters, though I'm sure she'll poke into other people's journals from time to time. She doesn't trust wizards, so she won't be terribly warm to anyone who does strike up a conversation in journals, but HEY. It's worth a shot.

Hello. Sorry I have been MIA. Kid has double ear infection AND hubby hasn't been helpful as he has been dealing with his own flu-cold-illness thingy. I have been going strong but started getting a cough the last few days. I am just tired. However, this doesn't mean I don't want to rp. I am just behind. So much has happened. Hey guys!
So sorry for vanishing for a few days, I have been utterly brain dead. Like sit and stare into space because I can't think brain dead. I have a ton to get caught up on, and I will hopefully get to that later today.
In the meantime, here are my last two until I kill some off!
ELPHIAS DOGE, my bad ass 98 year old man. His main occupation is being a Grumpy Old Man. And helping out with the Order of the Phoenix, because he has a hardcore bro-crush on Dumbledore. Bit of interesting history - Elphias used to be Phineas Black II, the son of Phineas Nigellus Black, but was disowned because he wouldn't shut up about equal rights for everyone. So he renamed himself Elphias, and it's possible the younger generation has no clue about his past. He's a former Auror, did a stint as a Curse-Breaker to make some gold after being disowned, and is now a Special Advisor to the Wizengamot. Oh, and he likes Grizzy. A lot. You still want in on that, Ted?
Elphias likes cursing, ties, Muggle stuff, and wishes everyone would just get the fuck along because he is old and doesn't have time for this shit. He would much rather be buying sweets for Dumbledore than fighting Voldie.
AND:
NYX FAWLEY. In this changed universe, she's the biological mother of Nymphadora, so she's a Metamorphmagus! Her favorite thing is changing her hair color a lot.
Now here’s some complicated family connections: Nyx is a cousin to the Yaxley crew and the Vance family. Her father is the brother of Melisande Fawley Yaxley and Marian Fawley Vance, so she saw both sides of how wizards treat everyone else while growing up. She never bought into the elitism bullshit; her father thought a proper marriage after school would cure that abnormal attitude, but surprise! She had a fling with a Muggleborn from school and got pregnant. THE HORROR. Her family disowned her, the baby daddy disappeared, and she’s been a single working mum ever since.
She works as a columnist for Witch Weekly, writing both political pieces and fluffy articles about astronomy/astrology/make up/hair tips. She’s in the Order because a Metamorphmagus is suuuuper useful you guys. She is going to be super annoying to the pureblood purist lot, since she left and is so much better off, so why don't you whiny brats grow up too?

Howdy! This is a bit late in coming, but allow me to introduce Juliet Yaxley, the baby of the family. She is an aspiring actress or singer or whatever thing will get her fame, and generally pretty social and chatty with everyone. She likes to play up how sweet and dumb she is in hopes that others will underestimate her.
Former Slytherin (the mostly-unbiased kind!) in the graduating class of the Marauders, so come at me all you 18 year olds! She wants to be your friend. Or your acquaintance. Or flirt with you, at least. Weren't you mentioning a wealthy uncle who backs Muggle cinema things? Come, talk to Juliet. :D

Kreacher will be releasing names of Death Eaters. There may be some names in there of people who are not DEs, too. You can blame Walburga Black for being such a LOUD MOUTH around him as well as Regulus making suggestions before taking the vow. But just so we're clear, the Ministry will not take the word of a house-elf seriously so there's no fear of legal comeuppance. Moody will be side-eying you, though, but that's only because he's SUSPICIOUS.

Arden here with control issues, clearly.
First we have Micah King, he is a neutral half blood and werewolf. He was turned at 18 by choice along with his adoptive brother Isaac, so that his adoptive sister Delilah would no be alone after being attacked by Fenrir Greyback. He is a part of Greyback's pack along with his siblings, not that he particularly likes the guy... But they didn't see much other options given how most people stay away from werewolves. Next is Amycus Carrow ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) dark_carrow brother to Alecto, Death Eater and a bit of a psychopath. Hates muggles, muggleborns, half-breeds, his parents... Thinks Voldemort has the right idea, get rid of all the rift raft so that the purebloods can take their rightful place in the wizarding world. As we've just added a whole batch of werewolves, here's a quick rundown of what is game canon:
♥ The transition into a werewolf the first time could take up to a few hours. After that, the transitions becomes swifter (less than half an hour). Those werewolves that accept their condition can transition quicker and with less pain in comparison to those who fight it.
♥ They have some extra strength and agility in human form. Not massively but they can pack a punch.
♥ They do not have extra healing abilities in human form. They obviously can heal themselves from the transition however if they were shot in wolf form, they would not be able to heal from that. They would need a healer/potions.
♥ Silver does not kill werewolves.
♥ Werewolves that fully throw themselves into their curse (aka Fenrir) are able to transform either side of the full moon. However, they are not at full strength on the days either side.
♥ A werewolf bite turns.
♥ A werewolf scratch does not turn however they will not heal fully. They may also develop some animalistic traits (e.g. having a liking for raw steak).

OKAY. ANNIE HERE. I've got Isaac Morgan: PLANT HUNTER. He needs his own tv-show.
He's a werewolf who has found himself in the Greyback pack--he judges you family, deeply... unfortunately, he loves his sister and adoptive brother quite a bit (not quite as much as they love each other, mind you) and they'll likely be the death of him.
He's spent the last year out of the country doing what he loves best: finding different magical ingredients/plants/THINGS. He may or may not be working with Damocles Belby... All for his sister, of course. He has no plans to try and fashion a cure but he wouldn't mind having a bit more control during the full. While he considers himself a 'good guy', what happens in werewolf form stays in werewolf form. If he kills so be it because he's not chaining himself up and being one of those self-deprecating sorts, thankyouverymuch.
Oh, and he might be working to kill Fenrir. Obviously. Hush hush because I don't want him to die yet.

Next big plot event will be at the upcoming charity event on March 25th. Voldemort will be telling his followers that he wants to attack during the event because it will have a big Order/Ministry presence. He's still pissed about his nose, Edgar. However, we're going to say that Severus tips off the Order so they're prepared. This will be the first major hit against the DEs so there's going to be more causalities on the DE side than the Order/Ministry.
There's going to be DEs there who will not be involved in the attack because they'll end up exposing themselves. So we're going to say that Voldemort selects several witches and wizard who don't attend and arrive later with him. Let me know if you want your character in that group!
The identities of the dead DEs will be exposed. Obviously, just because mummy and daddy are DEs doesn't necessarily mean that the children are but that's something to keep in mind too! Plot below with how you want your characters involved, how badly injured etc etc

Basically, I'd like a list of all characters in game who you are willing to kill off in the future. Obviously, you don't have to kill off anyone you don't want however making yourself a target to Voldemort would have consequences... Not right away, but we know loads of powerful witches and wizards died during that time so just keep that in mind.
Please note below any characters that you are willing to kill off in the future as well as any family members.
Oh! And this is also an opportunity to plot how these things happen. So feel free to jump in and discuss things.

Hello! New person here, but with a character y'all will know (and love). I'm Jeanne, and this is ARTHUR WEASLEY. He's... pretty much what you'd expect, I think! Friendly, gregarious, a bit silly, family man, daunted by the war but what can ya do?
There's a ton more backstory and such in his bio, but especially of note is his brother Cassius, who was a Hitwizard and was killed on the job last year. He was a DMLE darling, so Auror/Hits-type folks, feel free to have known him! And DE-type folks, feel free to call dibs on his murder! ;) And if anyone wants to bring in his other brother, crazy Uncle Bilius (you know, the one who likes to "hoist up his robes and start pulling bunches of flowers out of his&emdash;"), I'd probably love you forever.
