Markus hadn't spent a great deal of time in the motel room so far. He didn't require more than a few hours in "sleep mode" every few days, to clean up his processes and reorganize his memory. He was two steps in the door with his arms full before his preoccupied thoughts came to a halt at the sight in front of him. His room look decidedly unlike the room he'd left behind. And there was a strange pair of people inside. A facial recognition scan started automatically. He raised his eyebrows.
"I'm....sorry? Did I--" He glanced behind him at the door, currently creaking shut. "Am I in the wrong room?"
