"Markus has a way of reading people," Connor explained to her, hoping it may answer her curiosity about how the other android seemed to know him so well. "He sees things about people before they realize them for themselves, helps them become better."
He frowned at the idea of Markus being in trouble with the cops though, because he knew the other android had been shot at. He looked at Dolores to avoid worrying about it too much. "Does this town remind you of home?" he asked her. "You made it sound like such a pleasant place." And he had his doubts, but if she was more comfortable here that was good news.
