Luther didn't startle. Frankly, that had more to do with how a man of his size and in such a precarious position couldn't afford to, rather than any particular lack of surprise. He tilted his head, studying the unfamiliar figure for as long as it took for him to speak up, and then shrugged one hulking shoulder.
"If you want it, I was thinking about going in," he offered, voice dropped to a low hush in deference to the hour. It was too late... or too early... to be loud.
People were still sleeping inside.
"Thought I'd stargaze, but..." He gestured, gloved hand sweeping at the sky. "The stars are all wrong and it's kind of... unsettling." To put it mildly, anyway.
