AWZ/EKP episode discussion {236-240}

Episode 236: Deniz makes new friends. Vanessa's not amused, since technically they're hers. Lena continues to be stupid.

Episode 237: Roman, Ingo and Diana search for Lena and Annette. Meanwhile, Deniz acts like a moron, and Marian wins the father of the year
award.

Episode 238: Lena moves closer to finding Annette, while Marian and Nadja come up with contingency plans to deal with the Steinkamps.

Episode 239: Pumpkin Pie, sorry, we mean Annette, of course *g* is safely returned home. Meanwhile Roman and Diana's shot at the World Championships is threatened when Mike neglects his duties as a trainer

Episode 240: Lil - Robin continues to threaten Lena and the gang.
Shelly - Cracky plot is cracky!
Aldi - Wow, Lena has some massive sunburn on her chest.

236 – OH HAI NINA! AND TIM! <33333 Heh, the ongoing war between Deniz and Vanessa never fails to entertain. So fitting that Deniz is trying so hard to make all the new friends… not to mention his adorable attempts at wisdom. Yeah, she's clearly so very into you, dude. Because all the girls are, right? Even so, knowing what we know, the bluster and ego have a poignancy to them; he just wants so badly to be loved, to be wanted, and continues with the grand gestures. Meanwhile, Lena manages to be completely obvious in her sneaky plans while still fooling everyone. Guys? Hallo?

237 – Yes, Ingo, you should have realized. Sheesh. Oh, and HAI Oliver! I almost forgot about Diana/Oliver. How awkward would that be with having almost the same last name? I suppose Johnsons must date Johnsons sometimes. I forget, is there some sort of family connection, like between Oliver and Nina? *confused*

Three-way cuddles FTW! But guys, wouldn't this be a good time to get the police involved again rather than attempting to search the entire rail system on your own?

I once again find myself completely distracted from actual plot by Vanessa's cleavage. *stares* Props to Marian for attempting to teach a 17-year-old boy empathy… and actually succeeding. Even if it does lead to the first of many MANY MAAAAAAANY times we hear Deniz's Es Tut Mir Leid mantra.

238 – Pink is a good color on you, Lars. Just sayin'.

I am endlessly amused by the Steinkamp reflex of running people over. Doesn't Simone do that again at some point? Not to mention Jenny 4.0.

I kind of wish they'd shown Deniz's face when Marian made the quip about the football players' numbers. How that must have freaked him out!

239 – What is it with Mike always walking in on people making out? It's like he has a radar for these things.

Why is Annette not in the hospital/under police protection? Considering her kidnapper is still on the loose and all. Soap logic, you never fail to fail.

SKATING! Roman's white jacket! Mike being a horrible trainer! And the first (in EKP time) of many MANY MAAAAAANY times someone puts their personal bullshit above Roman's career. Because we're all professionals here, right? *cuddles Roman while making rude gestures at Mike and Nadja*

240 – It's all about the Bergman sisters love today. Best rendition of Valley Low, Mountain High EVER. I'll just ignore Ingo being a wanker to Roman because I like them better when they're being lovey and adorbs.

	activates AWZ wiki Oliver is Diana's cousin by marriage - he's the son of Dieter's brother and Diana is Dieter's stepdaughter, i.e. they have the same last name because Diana's mum took Dieter's last name when she married him, but they're not related by blood (unlike Nina, who is Diana's step-sis and Oliver's full cousin).
