Exciting stuff coming up!!!
...no, not really. I totally lie.

Anyway, RTL.de has posted a snippet about the new AWZ plots coming up in the new year. I thought I'd share, since many people still don't really seem to understand why we're retiring EKP (apparently four months of no DeRo plots weren't enough of a clue!).

And NO, I haven't deliberately left out the DeRo parts, lol. The boys are not featured in the article, because their screentime went to a dog.

I am not kidding about the dog.

Translation:

1. Simone Steinkamp spends a seemingly harmonious Christmas with her children, her grandson Alexander, and Rafael. But Rafael's devious plans are increasingly taking form. When Maximilian realises that his mother's life is in danger, it seems to be too late already, because Rafael has managed to sow discord between Maximilian and Simone. Rafael and Maximilian face each other in a fight of life and death!

2. After Isabelle's accident with the fire, Ben has chosen his marriage over Katja. Now Katja wants to focus only on her skating career [oh, there's a novel concept] and determinedly prepares for the German Championships. But she can't switch off her feelings for Ben, and her performance suffers accordingly. New star trainer David Meierhoff may be her last resort. And it seems like he and Katja don't just connect on the ice... When Ben notices that they're getting close, his suppressed feelings for Katja resurface again [as in, AGAIN again]. He realises that he's been fooling himself all these weeks thinking he could save his marriage wiith Isabelle. But does Ben's epiphany come too late, and will he actually go through with his break-up from Isabelle this time? [MORE IMPORTANTLY, DOES ANYONE ACTUALLY WANT THESE QUESTIONS ANSWERED? LOL.]

3. After the drama with Simone, Vanessa decides to stay in Essen for a while longer. Her family needs her, since Axel is proceeding with his plans to inherit Jenny's company shares. To escape the madness at the Steinkamp Centre occasionally, Vanessa spends a lot of time with Annette and Tom. While saving a mistreated dog, she realises that her feelings for Tom have grown beyond friendship. But Tom has lost his heart to Annette, his best friend Ingo's wife.

4. Marian clings to the hope that Jenny might still be alive, although all efforts to find her have failed. In a prostitute named Jessica, he finds a woman with whom he tries to get over his grief, because Jessica bears an undeniable resemblance to his beloved Jenny. And after some time has passed, the question is whom does Marian actually love - Jenny or Jessica? [again, why does this question need answering? Since Jessica is already wearing Jenny's clothes, can't he just start calling her Jenny and introduce her to Simone as her lost daughter?]

5. Now that Franziska's charade is over and she and Florian are finally together, they believe that nothing can get between them. Both are sure that they've found the right partner in each other. If only there wasn't a teensy tiny little problem... [ok, fess up, who else immediately thought "cock size"?]
