I'm trying so, so hard not to get the homophobic vibe from Ingo, because that's one thing I've always loved about him - the fact that while he isn't all, "I'M COOL WITH THE GAY Y'ALL", he's accepting of Roman as a person, and that's always included his sexuality. (Well, from what I've seen, anyway - I've only seen from 230). He's always made cracks that are slightly hetero-macho stuff, especially on the ice, and that time he called Smarmian "faggot", which still gives me serious squick (and just typing that makes me feel incredibly gross), and some of his standup jokes were a bit icky...
But he never judged Roman for being gay. And it would be such a horrible turing-point for this character for him to suddenly do that, even if it's subtext-y. I just... I don't know if I could handle that. Even after everything, it would be one of the most hearbreaking things in this whole SL, because after everything Roman's lost, and all the emotional shit with Marc and his family and Deniz and even Marian, he needs some stability. A rock, basically, and NO ONE IS GIVING HIM ONE. *would seethe but is too busy wibbling*
And that is what kind of leads me to agree with Christine and Melanie and hope to hell that there's something in this plot-wise because if not, then... ugh.
