This makes less sense than Riverfell. I was there for maybe a day, and now I'm here.

What the bloody hell?

Pretty sure you're not the only one asking that question.

...If there's one thing I've learned from all this shit? You've just got to go with it. Half of the time it's like insanity, but it usually turns out to be true.

Going with things has never been my strong suit. Don't think it's going to start being that way now.

And who are you?

Trust me - you learn quick around here. Either go with the flow or lose your mind fighting against it.

Special Agent Seeley Booth - but just call me Booth - and you are?

We'll see about that.

Booth? What does special agent mean exactly? Can't imagine why you would be special. My name is Tracey Davis. Davis is fine.

Fight it if you'd like - it's no skin off my teeth. I'm just feeling particularly charitable today.

Special Agent's an Earth term - you may not be familiar with the world. I do special assignments for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Secret Agent type stuff. Like James Bond. Anything ringing a bell?

I'd say nice to meet you, but I haven't really decided yet if it is or not.

If this is your idea of charitable, I'm not sure I'd like to see you annoyed.

I'm from Earth, thank you very much. Not from the states, but still. And no, not really. Where I come from, there are no secret agents.

I'd point out that I've yet to say anything that wasn't either useful or politely responding to your question or statement, but I imagine that'd be lost on you.

And sorry - you'll have to forgive my ignorance on your life's story, individual-that-I've-just-met. I was just covering my bases. Figured that since you didn't know what an 'agent' was, you weren't from Earth. Apparently, you're just a stuck up ignorant brit.

Kindness is generally lost on me. Not that I think you are remotely showing me that.

Then forgive my ignorance of yours. I have no idea why they would call you special agents. And no, I'm just not familiar with the muggle world. We grew up separately, you see.

No kidding, bitch.

Fair enough. As stated, I just figured that it was lack of knowledge of Earth culture, as opposed to American - muggle? Really? Is that what you call us over there? - culture. I'll be sure not to make that mistake in future.

No, not American. Muggle. You've not heard the term? I thought people had.

I'm a witch. Muggles are non-wizards.

Right. The wand waving sort. I've seen a few of your kind around. They've all adjusted fine, from what I can tell.

Why don't you run off and make friend with them, rather than alienating yourself on the mechs, or complaining to everyone else about shit we can't do anything about? Might be a more productive use of everyone's time.
