Special Agent's an Earth term - you may not be familiar with the world. I do special assignments for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Secret Agent type stuff. ~~Like James Bond.~~ Anything ringing a bell?

Why don't you run off and make friend with them, rather than alienating yourself on the mechs, or complaining to everyone else about shit we can't do anything about?
