Where we spin things off because we can.
[So they're God-knows how far underground at this point, as if being at the bottom of the ocean wasn't claustrophobic enough. Sentinels and bots all around, she's in the middle of reloading her gun when a lovely little hunk of metal tries to tazer her calf. She evades with a hop to the side, skidding on the heel of her shoe and ending up off balance with one leg up. Stumbling occurs, and of course it happens Cross' way as she whacks that magazine into her gun as the bot pursues.

She finds balance after skimming her hand across his back, shooting Sir Taze-A-Lot in the face four times. Both arms drop to her sides as she lets out a sigh, not taking note of the fact it wasn't a barrier her hand skimmed over.] I really don't like tazers. They suck.

I'm not responsible if your IV disconnects or any machines go nuts. [She works her heels out of her shoes and sits on the edge of the bed-- sliding her feet under the sheet (oh hey, he's got pants on! not that catheters aren't sexy) and reluctantly laying down next to him.

Her head on his shoulder, she puts her palm gently on his chest. Shifts a little closer.] There?

I don't normally jump 'almost dead men' in their hospital beds.

[She shifts over, turning in more towards him and leaning up on her elbow.] Especially ones that are supposed to still be wearing their oxygen masks.

[Her lip twitches upwards, she's only letting you get away with it because you've got more than enough breath to flirt.] You won't take a kiss to the cheek either, will you.

[And that makes her laugh, rolling her eyes ever so slightly. It succeeds however, and she gently pushes herself up a little higher and plants one hand on the other side of his head. She's careful not to put any of her weight against him, but she can't help what brushes.] Alright. [Pressing her lips to his, gentle because yes, she is holding back on account of the bandages.]

	[And that would work, except that his hand which hand been so gently sliding down her back wraps firmly around her waist, pulling her closer -- not enough to lean on him directly, but enough for a real kiss. He'll take due advantage of those parted lips, tongue flicking over them and then curling in a distinct 'come hither' movement. 	[That's more like it. It'd be better if he had two hands, but the one will have to do as he drags it over the small of her back and down the curve of her hip. Holding his breath hurts a little but the tip of her tongue against his is distraction enough. Mmm. [To the extent he can, he inclines his head to bare his neck for her -- and then excuse him one moment, there's a squawking on the other side of his door and a jiggling of the handle. He takes care of the problem quickly, picking up a glass that had been left within his reach and pitching it toward the door, where it shatters.]

[There's more yelling, but it dies down as some bootsteps thump on down the hall.]

Now that's out of the way... [He gives her hip a squeeze. Do go on.]
