[This is new. Kaworu has seen the inside of a church before - a partially ruined church was one of the places he stumbled upon during his first tour of Tokyo-3 - so he at least recognises what the place is meant to be. But isn't this the hotel? Why would it have a church?

Then he spots the girl tearing up a book and approaches her curiously, wondering what book has so angered her. Is it the Bible?]
