Stella slowly turned her attention back to Amadeus, her expression clearly perplexed. How would she like studying with her boyfriend? She hated studying, but she was perhaps keen on spending time with him. Paired together, Stella couldn't tell what she thought. His voice, though, caught her. "I think that would be nice," she added softly, reviewing him. Was he smarter than she was? She doubted it, but there was always a possibility.
Pleased with his response to her kiss, Stella leaned into Amadeus, allowing much of her weight to be on him. She appreciated the closeness and was overcome with the warmth of being next to him. The list of reasons she was still with him was lengthening, and she felt fairly secure that she could add this one: he was a fantastic kisser. Unexpected yes, unappreciated no. A not all together small part of her wanted to stay, seal the door, and do what they would. Luckily for their walk, a nagging voice warned against letting her list get too awful long and she broke the kiss.
At his question, Stella shrugged her shoulders. "Honestly, very boring. The only thing I've heard is that Claire and Charlie are two now." The gossip mill was particularly quiet and Stella found that she was decidedly lacking information to stir things up. "What have you been working on?" she countered, hoping that he might let her in to at least one juicy story.
Stella nibbled her lip to hide her smirk as Amadeus hurried to open the door for her. Her list was another item longer; perhaps her plan to keep it short wouldn't work as she planned. Stella didn't answer his question immediately, trying to come up with something clever. She trotted down the stairs a bit, then stopped to answer, a clever answer eluding her. "I've always like the like. Maybe find a rock to chisel our initials into." Stella was particularly accustomed to the long walk from Gryffindor to the outside, but was delighted to find that walking with Amadeus cut the perception of time dramatically. Before she knew it, they were nearly to the exit.
