Tennison James Niles was not a man who got bored. He was never uninterested, tired, bored, or restless. So even though he wasn't at work, he didn't have anything really to do at the moment, he certainly wasn't roaming the hallways out of boredom. The structure itself was interesting, roaming through as it was being rebuilt was something to behold, taking in the damage and the reconstruction. And all the while, he was currently replaying a movie he had recently seen in his head. Although not something he wore all the time, though definitely something he always had on his persons, cyberkinetic glasses were sitting neatly on his face - they were buddy holly style, though perhaps a little smaller and more chic. They helped him connect to the internet and go further in his reaches of machinery and etc. Right now he was playing scrabble, as well as watching the movie, and walking the hallways.
So yes, multi-tasking abilities = never bored.
But that didn't mean he wasn't lonely. TJ often found himself quite lonely, considering he spent most of his time on computers, fixing computers, hacking things for people, hacking things for the government, hacking into the governments things. He didn't have a lot of time for people other than his students, and considering it was winter break, he didn't have much contact with them either. So perhaps it was partially hope that brought him to roaming the hallways - there were parts that were done, like the lower levels where the lounges and kitchens were, which was where he was headed right now. The students at Xavier's either were with their families, sleeping in the lower two levels of the school, or couches in the lounges (as far as he knew), but it was still populated. He was spending most of his time at the school, while also going back to his apartment to either sleep or continue getting his stuff together.
But for now, he was walking. Looking for someone to talk to, or help. Or both.
