She was no stranger to outdoor markets, there were quite a few in Asia that had been open at night, lit was gas lamps, and the like. She was pretty good at haggling without the need to use her compulsion gift. Though here, because coins were hard to come by she did use it on occasion. With the people she could. She didn't use it to cheat any of the vendors, just to keep from being cheated. With those she didn't feel the 'pull' when looking them in the eye, she did use her looks, and a little flirtation. Which meant tight clothes or low cut blouses. Today she was going for both. A knotted button down black top, without the use of any of the buttons, and leggings that had ruching in down her back end, that made her posterior look like a peach. Topped with some quality trainers, and she could claim that she had been working out or was going to, only a choice few knew for sure that she was a vampire after all. Currently, Bryn was thumbing through some records. Her head barely lifting to acknowledge the vendor, as she plucked out the ones she wanted. She had been scanning, and buying, records every time she came to the shops since she had spoken to Bucky about it. Anything to help the former soldier. "No Benny Goodman, today?" It was a disappointment, when the vendor shook his head. "Well, how about I give you my number, and you keep an eye out for one in playable condition for me. I would be willing to pay a good price for one, especially if it had Sing, sing, sing on it." She leaned over the table, showing ample cleavage, and beamed her number to the vendor when he agreed. "Now what do I owe you for these?" When he gave her a what seemed like a good price she paid without haggling him down. After all, she wanted that Benny Goodman record bad, so she wanted to leave a good impression. |
