Status/Rating: IC/OOC / PG?
Isobel Knightley
volunteer medical corps Isobel is bright-eyed, lively, and witty, and she's quick to smile. Everyone's treated equally, but she responds to enthusiasm. She's a little more indulgent of questions and people whispering while she's talking, but Millicent will crack down if it gets bad enough. Isobel is currently a trainee. She had another job, but after the war started, she decided to train at St Mungo's. |
|
Presentation She went over the role
of the organisation (run by St Mungo's), which
is providing medical assistance to Grindelwald's
victims. This includes drives for potions
supplies, bandages, bedding, etc, and some Healers
and Medi-wizards are in Europe.
She also went over how you can help, at Hogwarts and at Hogwarts, through donating above listed items, running drives through the school, and growing and collecting some potions ingredients. She listed some helpful plants (the equivalent of collecting foxgloves). She also goes over how to make your own wizarding version of a first-aid kit for home. Demonstration/Activity She will go over what to do if you're bleeding and unable to use magic
atm, which includes a form of bandages, and
the 1940s version of Rest, Elevate, Direct pressure.
And since people ARE magical, she also will go over Finite Incantatem (2nd year spell), Episkey (4th year spell), the Reviving Spell (6th year spell), and Ferula (7th year spell). If you know a spell, she'll give you pointers on improving your technique, and then move on to the next one. It becomes like one of those first-aid courses where students pick partners. "OH NO. YOUR WAND ARM IS BLEEDING PROFUSELY. WHAT DO YOU DO? PARTNERS! WHAT DO YOU DO?" Questions She will take them.
And she gets veggies, too.
