The woman was amused by his cautiousness, but allowed him to lead her none-the-less. If he had any sort of untoward intentions, he'd just as quickly find a knife between his ribs. While the girl was polite and respectful and did have all the makings of some sort of delicate flower, she was not afraid of to get a little blood on her hands.
Fortunately, he seemed very genuine about showing her around. Even if he did randomly point at things with tags already attached to them. She regarded them each. Some she had seen, others she hadn't. The plants all looked in good health no matter their stage. "I will have to revisit when it is in full bloom, then," she said allowing her fingers to trace the vein of a leaf before being lead further.
Being pulled behind the wall of plant life, she noticed their seclusion and listened. The words he'd picked and the way he dropped his guard made her feel satisfied. Considering the way his father and brother treated him, she could understand his need to get away...just as Aspel had. It took a little effort to keep her polite interest from faltering.
"The Bards' Guild?" she inquired with interest. "I have not had a chance to visit the Theater District. I too study with the Bards Guild," she informed him freely. "Dancer," she clarified. She would not expand upon it. "I should go soon, I suppose. I need to meet my new instructor, but my host insists I make proper introductions to nobility first," she said with a sigh. "What luck we should meet. A friendly face in a foreign place is always welcome."
