Note: While this has been labeled as a “Nobles Ball” this is Reinholdt, let’s be real here everyone, he loves some entertainment. Nobles, tricksters, guards, etc, are all more than welcome here~ TGers! You're obviously all invited once again, now how you choose to get there, or how you choose to sneak in is up to you!
Reinholdt's estate was much as it was the year before. Mammoth, and clearly the outline of a madman. Just like the previous year guests could, and did, easily get lost in the winding roads, well manicured shrubbery, elegant floral bushes, and - some would venture far too intentional - labyrinth that this all created was hardly surprising. However, unlike last year, this year held a bit of a change. At every dead end would be a performer of some sort, nothing too big or or noisey, but something so that the patrons of the makeshift maze couldn't feel too terrible upset at having taken a wrong turn along the way. Yet, regardless of the consideration the estate's selection of strange statues to the oddly trimmed trees - new designs this year from the one previous though - it was still clear that the entire place remained a playground of a mad man's twisted mind, and deeply rooted desire for constant entertainment. Yet, even with the odd choice of decorations from front gate to front door, it would still remained hauntingly beautiful in it's own regard. While things may have been refined in such a nature that the immediate appearance was laughable or odd, a second's worth of closer inspection would reveal a rather shocking, and equally stunning amount of art and detail in every piece. Truly, Reinholdt remained - as always - a man of many layers. All, just like the year before, all guests would be able to find their way to the actual mansion.... Eventually. The nobles invited would have a easier - but not too easy - time than some of the alternative guests that may have been invited, and needed to seek other means of access. However, in the end, the halls, ballroom, and more, would be lavished with the finest things that money could buy. A new set of unique imported tapestries hung from the walls, and even down to the smallest detail of the garnish on the plethora of trays that held food, everything had been carefully considered and selected for the greatest effect. The level of care for such event would only assist in adding to the highly refined and, on some levels, ridiculously overblown extravaganza. Reinholdt was still not one to skip on refreshments, and foods as serving trays were piled high with the freshest quality produce, choicest cuts of meats, and exquisite imported delicacies, cheeses, breads and desserts. The dance floor remained open, and considering it was easily the twice the size of Sackheim's it offered a plethora of room for anyone who wished to dance while Machinists, Bards, Dancers, and members of the orchestra buzzed around assuring that ample entertainment would be provider for the pleasure of the guests between the waiters refreshing drinks and offering appetizers from silver and golden trays at any given point. As was custom after the ball had begun and before it was too late to make a proper showing, Reinholdt would step up the stage, taking in hand a microphone. "A greatly grand eve I wonderfully wish! Please partake of the appetizing and appropriate items to amply appease your appetite as you see fit and as every year I heartily hope that you all shall have an extraordinarily exquisite eve! If you find yourself with necessary need please do feel free to find myself for more to enable easy exploration!" With a smile, and a bow, Reinholdt easily passed the microphone back to one of the people bustling about before offering removing himself from the stage to mingle with the crowd of people having already gathered for the eve. |
