Chloë couldn't imagine someone of Seloria's status understanding what it meant, but she suspected she would have some idea of it, but only vaguely. Still, she wasn't going to slam on the other woman who was being nice to the orphans. Most people tended to forget about them. They were a forgotten people, the ones strewn to the wayside and only thought of when people couldn't have children of their own. Instead she smiled at the something of an offer, "Perhaps another time. I come here when I can, so if I were to take any lessons from you, they would be far and few in between. I also make an awful student."
She looked at the card and then politely took it. The woman spoke of math and Chloë paused. Math. She was good at numbers, but only when the numbers had to make sense somewhere. Then again, these children would only need the numbers that made sense. At least until any might find their way to the Mages Tower.
"Thank you, miss," Chloë said, "I do wish you luck. I'm sure someone may come to relieve you of that duty in particular. There are people out there quite good with numbers who have a heart big enough to teach children." If she did undertake this task, Chloë would need to work out a new time schedule for her to make more frequent visits. That is, if she decided to do this at all.
"It was nice to meet you, miss...Cassul," she said feigning surprise with her eyes widening and looking up.
