"I suppose," Seloria said, clearly not convinced. Why would Juliette ever feel like an inconvenience? It wasn't her business, except she felt like it was now that the door had been opened, and she was hoping they could become better friends. It was clearly a conversation to be had at another time.
Juliette's question to her, the first that wasn't a simple formality, or went with the flow of the conversation made Seloria blink. "Aspel is my eldest and Rictor is the second, yes," she said easily. It was the first time she'd said in a long time to anyone allowed that Aspel was of relation to her. The wave of emotion that rushed her was nearly overwhelming. Her throat dried somewhat and she felt the edges of her eyes get moist.
She lifted her glass to her lips to take a drink and give her some time to collect her thoughts.
