"It took me a long time to get here." His voice was easy, gentle even when he spoke about the matter. "It just takes time Queny. Don't worry about it." His smile picked up some. "You've got plenty of it." Listening to her, he paused for a moment, blowing over the tea a little more before taking a sip of it. "It'll be hard but if that's what you really wanna do, you know I'll support you." Though, how she was going to do it? That part he was pretty clueless on at this point. However, there had to be some sort of way.
"Cormac's got a friend, a machinist. Maybe she's got some sorta trick that could help you with magicks. Him and her are always working on crazy inventions. I could talk to him for you about it if you want." Maybe they could find something to cure Quen's blindness that he couldn't. Farem knew he'd been trying desperately for years at this point. Though, no matter what he could find, nothing ever worked. He was just as useless to her as he'd been to their father.
"Hey, none of that, yea? Your my little sister, I'll always make time for you." Though... That comment about Merri earned a slightly confused look. Not that Quen could see it. "Merri, yea? Can't say I know the guy very well."
