"Heey." He laughed easily as he wrapped his arms back around her, pulling her up into a big, squeezing hug for a moment, even tilting back a little to pull her off the ground slightly before leaning forward again and letting her feet come in contact with the ground again. "Trying to knock me over with all that, huh? Been practicing your tackles while I've been busy?" He was teasing, it was good natured and while the smile on his face was tired, it was still there.
When she pulled back, he allowed his hand to linger on her shoulder, the other hand with the box in it had shifted away, he didn't want to startle her with a foreign object until she was good and ready for it. "I am, I am." He nodded, more out of habit than her actually being able to see the action. A small chuckle was let out. "Look at you, playing hostess. Next thing I know, I'll turn around and you'll have planned a banquet or something."
Pausing a moment, Darius made short work of the light required before waiting for Quen to step back so that he could move into the room. "You been doing ok?" He glanced around the room, trying to take note of anything that could be amiss, or give any hints of Quen having problems with anything more than normal.
"No one's given you any problems or anything, yea?" The box was turned over in is hand, it was small and he hoped she'd like it. However, he'd wait until she was better settled in before presenting the item to her.
