Much of Emily's time was spent in the clinic or with her parents. Going back into an old life should be harder, especially with the manner in which she left it. There were questions, but she still knew where everything was, for the most part, and she could see in what paths life led people she knew. Many faces were easier to recognize than others and a few she struggled but a little bit of conversation and she was back on track. Merri, however, was a name and face she remembered well. A fellow white mage, though her own school of study had changed not long after she departed Emillion.
She made her way to The Blue Wren Cafe and was dressed as a woman of noble birth would be. Though Emily tried more to keep simplicity a key factor and steer away from the gawdy or over-embellished dresses others were prone to wear. She came to the cafe, and told the host there she was seeking a table with Merrion Priddy. Recognizing her clothing as nobility, there were no questions, but simple a "this way" and "I hope my lady is well today" before she was brought to the table where Merri sat.
Eyes in the restaurant that recognized her looked on in awe as she was alive and quite well. Those who didn't recognized simply stared because people tended to do that when they so those of higher stations coming into an area they did not frequent quite so often.
"A face I have longed to see for quite some time," she said with the smile on her face growing even wider, "Merri, it is so good to see you."
