Dean took the other chair, so Sheehan turned one of the desk chairs to face the two of them, and took a seat. He watched the men's body language, and the looks that passed between the two of them, both looking more than a little uncomfortable.
"I'm glad you both came to me," he said, "I imagine it's not an easy step to take. But I'll do my best to help you find what you need." He paused for a moment before inviting Cas or Dean to continue. "Why don't you tell me what's been going on? What brought you to my office today?"
Perhaps they could open the conversation with what had changed Cas' mind, and work back from there.
