Elfflame's Harry Potter (and maybe occasional other fandom) recs

McKay is one of the grand dames of Slash fiction, and one of the long-time shippers in Harry Potter fandom.  Not only that, but she still mods and writes, even if not as much as she once did in the past.  Her stories tend to center around either Snape or Lupin, but more often than not, both.  Among her works are some of the seminal pieces of the Snupin ship.
Her online nickname has changed over time, and some of her older fic you can still see listed with her other monikers, JayKay and JK.

Amanuensis is possibly my favorite HP slashfic author.  So many of her stories were ones I read while I was still finding my place in fandom, and she's always one that I turn to to remember that feeling of newness.  Many of her stories are considered classics, and when I see her name on a piece, I'm always excited to see what she's done.  She never flinches from her subjects in the least.
