Who: Megan Jones, Dustin Samuels (NPC) and Justin Finch-Fletchley
Where: Megan's new flat
When: Sunday evening
What: Oops
Rating: PG-13; for Justin's rage!
Sunday was supposed to be a slow day. Justin was at work most of the day leaving Megan behind with very little to do. Oh, she'd started unpacking a bit, but that quite quickly got old and boring. It had been as she'd decided to watch some tele, that the doorbell rang. Although she'd texted some friends her new address, Megan had hardly expected anyone to stop by so soon. She'd only been in her new home since yesterday. Wand at the ready, Megan awaited the worst. Thankfully, it had just been Dustin, so when he offered dinner, Megan had been more than happy to oblige. As much as she would have liked to wait for Justin, it would be well after ten that evening, and Megan was sure her stomach would be unable to take it. grabbing her coat, Megan headed out of her flat, locking the door behind her.
They'd walked back to her flat shortly before ten. Megan was smiling, surprisingly at easy with Dustin. It wasn't that she didn't like Dustin, he was nice, funny and cute. He just wasn't Justin. Still, the evening had been brilliant. The restaurant was surprisingly good, and Megan had made a mental note to go back as it wasn't all that far from her new flat. The company had been brilliant, and really the time had just flown by. When he'd come up with an excuse to head upstairs, coffee, Megan was surprised to hear herself agree to the suggestion. He wasn't going to try anything, he was just a mate.
Sitting down on the sofa, Megan smiled as she brought over the coffee mugs. "I hope you're okay with Instant, I haven't had the chance to go out an buy a coffee pot yet," Megan said with a smile as she sat down. Turning slightly toward Dustin, Megan picked up her mug. "So where were we?" Megan asked, trying to remember the snipets of their last conversation, this summers riding competitions, if she remembered correctly.
"Instant's fine." Dustin answered with another smile, resting his hand on the back of the sofa as he waited for Megan to sit. Once she had, he scooted subtly closer. "Can't really expect you to have a completely stocked house in less than two days can I?" He added with a chuckle. At her question however, Dustin smiled again as he leaned forward, not even bothering with his coffee. "I think we were right here..." he said as he closed the distance and leaned in to kiss Megan.
