Who: Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
What: A civil discussion?
Where: Their flat.
When: Saturday morning.
Rating: Low.
Hermione waited until Ron was in the shower to get out of bed, pulling on her dressing gown and heading into the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea. She had been given the all clear from St Mungo's the day before to discontinue bed rest, as long as she took it easy and made sure to keep to leisurely activities for a little while longer. She assumed that making a cup of tea would come under that, but still, Hermione was doing so while Ron wasn't around just in case he had anything to say about it.
Though her days tended to run into one another lately, it hadn't escaped her notice that it was Saturday, and if they ever got around to discussing it, then Ron would potentially be going out with some of Dumbledore's Army that night to search for Death Eaters. Somehow they managed to keep putting their talk off, or something else would come up whenever they made plans to go over the details. Hermione had already told Ron he could go, but apparently he had decided he couldn't go without a promise from her that he would never make himself. It was all more complicated than it probably needed to be, and it was little wonder they were avoiding it really.
Stirring milk into her tea as the object of her thoughts appeared, she smiled at him. "Good morning. Tea?"
