Who: Parvati and George
Where: A quiet little restaurant in Paris
When: Friday evening
What: A real date for once
Rating: Highish for innuendo
George had kept the shop open all day, despite the darkness. He had expected a flood of people coming in to buy light sources and self-protection products, and he was right. He was busier than he had been since the Christmas holidays.
He closed up early, however, because he had plans for that evening. His trysts with Parvati had, until recently, been purely for the physical pleasure of it. The move forward to something more serious had been a gradual and surprisingly easy one. George had never had a girlfriend before in his life, and it was strange how good it felt.
The debacle of a few days previous, where his habit of keeping things to himself imploded once Ginny caught him and Parvati, made him realize he was being terribly unfair. Parvati deserved to be taken out and shown off.
Given the new, magical darkness, the City of Lights seemed the perfect answer. He had been planning on Rome, perhaps with an overnight stay, but staying closer to home seemed a much better idea.
Dressed in his very best, a suit he had picked up in London second hand - he may be spending a great deal on the dinner, but he wasn't made of Galleons - and carrying a bouquet of lilies, he knocked gently on the Patil twins' door.
