By the time she finished pacing, Dominique had created almost a mirror image of the Burrow's living room. There was a big red couch and a bigger gold couch settled nicely in front of a roaring fire. A long coffee table stood between the couches, with recliners positioned a the head of each couch. Blankets were positioned randomly on the couches and around the table, and she had the wireless playing on the floor. Overall, she figured it was cosy enough to appease the Gryffindors, bright enough to make the Hufflepuffs happy, and sophisticated enough to keep her and Albus from spewing their dinners all over the wooden floors.

She sat on a recliner and brought her feet up under her legs. Having decided upon not wearing the Weasley jumper, she opted for an old shirt of Uncle Charlie's and her sister's old jeans. It was only six thirty, so she wasn't expecting anyone to show up for another half hour. Pulling out her book on Manticores, she began to read. As she read the book, she continuously checked the door, hoping Rose wouldn't be the first to arrive. If so, she couldn't promise there wouldn't be another murder committed that night.

Dominique smiled when Albus walked in and waved him over to the couches. "I don't know if you qualify as sane," she replied, smirking up at him, "but at least you're better than Rosie." She bit her tongue almost as soon as the words escaped, because the door opened and who stood there but none other than her least favorite cousin.

"Rosie!" she greeted, her voice dripping with sarcastic happiness, "How is Uncle Ron? I haven't seen him for almost...ten minutes now!" It was true, her uncles were patrolling the bloody corridors like they were sixth years again and she wanted them to leave desperately. Apparently James shared her sentiment, as upon answering her voiced similar opinions.

"Any way," she said, cutting Rose's retort short and letting a sly look fall on Albus who looked less than amused about the whole thing. "I just wanted to check up on you guys and make sure Jamie here hasn't gone gallivanting off to the murder scene yet."
