"Hi!" She greeted him easily, taking in his appearance with slight worry, but she wouldn't push on that for now. He was adjusting. He was allowed to look tired. "I brought you something I think you might like." She admitted, practically dancing her way past him before pulling several jars out of her bag and setting them on the counter.
Now, she knew it wasn't gruel but she was hoping it resembled it just enough to not stress him out immediately.
"It's called oatmeal. You can make them hot or cold. I made these cold because you said the gruel wasn't really either and I figured cold would be easier. Soft chewing required and you can add a little water to make it more soupy."
