Storm hadn't been responsible for the mist that she'd flown into, and Gambit had been in town going on two weeks now - she hadn't asked Morph if they'd been here longer, thinking they'd been in a similar boat as her. But it seemed the things she'd taken for granted were no longer the lay of the land. It was coming up on being about time for some real answers, and if there was anyone she trusted here it was Remy.
She'd flown across town to meet him after they'd made their plans, touching down outside the little shop he'd directed her to just as he was stepping out to meet her.
"There you are," She felt a swell of relief at the sight of him. After all the strange things she'd been told seeing a familiar face, particularly this one, was a welcome thing. "This place is something else."
