WHAT: Dean & Castiel Have A Chat. WHERE: Dean's room at Pickman WHEN: April 9th WARNINGS:Discussions of sexuality, internalized homophobia, etc STATUS: In Progress
Castiel's room was mostly done being decorated. Dean's was getting there. They'd painted it a nice steel blue, and it was dry enough now to put posters and other things on. Dean had found himself a nice old record player and some vinyls at the music store, and he'd set that up in his little room at Pickman. He'd been setting some other things up on his own, but finally sighed and decided, well, hell. Maybe he should call for Cas.
Ever since that awkward conversation in painting Castiel's room, and the conversations he'd had with Jo and Sam, Dean had sort of avoided Castiel. He'd had a lot of thinking to do, and shut himself up in his room for a bit - only going to work, where he didn't think at all, and then back to his room to ponder his life.
The more he thought about it, the more he realized he couldn't really figure it all out until he spoke to Cas again, who's reaction had thrown Dean so far into a loop that he couldn't get it out of his mind. The way Cas's face looked when he mentioned what happened with Eadwulf. He didn't bother with the phone to call for Cas, he simply bowed his head.
"Cas? You there? We need to talk."
