If nothing else the excitement of the weekend only proved to Lucy that she needed to find a way out of this place even faster than she had planned on doing. Dracula and Rochester were one thing, she knew how to handle monsters like them, but the situation they had been put in over the weekend made it more clear that she needed to find a way to be in control of her own life and not be at the whims of a vocal majority.
She'd picked the place it would happen, and she'd sent Rowena a message the night before to give her a chance to prepare and Lucy supposed gather anything she really wanted to have with her for note taking. She didn't know what Rowena could learn from it, but she was willing to give her the chance.
When the sun set Lucy gathered up her things, the telephone she'd been given her first day here, a change of clothes and that was all. She didn't really need anything, and anything she had on her wouldn't come with her, so this was all really more about being prepared for things to not go as she planned them to. She took her time walking through the woods, the world quiet now and the rain gone, it was far better than it had been over the last week or so. She made her way to the chosen point, a place covered with trees for a long stretch, so she'd be covered if this took longer than she'd hoped it might, and waited for Rowena to meet her there in the dark.
