Jordan grinned a little over the glass as they stole the last swig, before they set the empty glass down on the tray of a waiter walking by. They offer their arm, before starting over to the drinks table.

"That depends on how sketchy the job is. Most legit jobs are going to give you a check or pay you direct deposit every week or two weeks," they explained. "Direct deposit is when they just put the money in your bank account. A check is going to be a piece of paper that you go cash in. Now, if we're talking sketchy jobs, drug dealer, babysitter, those are probably cold hard cash at the end of the day."

Jordan wasn't a kid person, so yeah, drug dealer and babysitter were on the same level of sketchiness.
